Machine sewn pieced top. The layers were carefully hand stitched for a lovely, but somewhat rustic, effect. Beautiful, but subtle Christmas colors. The colors are more subdued than the photograph show. Red (deep and muted, not bright), pine green, and natural prints, all with gold stars and swirls on each print. The natural background print has folk style snowmen and words from the Winter Wonderland song. "In The Meadow We Will Build a Snowman ...."

The prints are arranged diagonally with the Snowman print on natural background between alternating rows of red and green.

The back is a solid piece of the green print.

This is a 100% cotton quilt. With occasional gentle washing and drying, this quilt will last for many years.
