Grammy BJ calls these wooden stars her Texas Blessings... after the Lone Star of Texas. A country wooden star with a Pennsylvania Dutch Folk Art design of birds (distelfinks) and triple stars, done in oil paints and protected overall with a gloss clear finish. This one does not have a message, but the distelfinks and stars are very traditional Pennsylvania Dutch "hex" designs. The distelfinks (birds) symbolize Good Luck and Happiness. The Triple Stars symbolize Success, Wealth and Happiness. For hanging it comes with a suede leather thong.
