Grammy BJ calls these wooden stars her Texas Blessings... after the Lone Star of Texas. A country wooden star with a Pennsylvania Dutch Folk Art design of birds (distelfinks), a star and tulips, done in oil paints and protected overall with a gloss clear finish. This one reads "Bless This House" inside a heart. The distelfinks, star and tulips are very traditional Pennsylvania Dutch "hex" designs. The distelfinks (birds) symbolize Good Luck and Happiness. The Star symbolizes Good Luck. The Tulips symbolize Faith. For hanging it comes with a suede leather thong.
