A wonderful Folk Art plaque, handpainted and signed by Grammy BJ. A precious design picturing a little Dutch Girl in her wooden clogs carrying two buckets of water. The blues and oranges from her dress and hat are echoed in the simple floral border and edge coloring. Painted on wood with Oil Paints and sealed for protection.

Measures approximately 9" across (diameter), and the wood is about 3/4" thick. My hubby has carefully drilled a slant hole on the back for easy hanging.

There is a another plaque with the same colors that pictures a little Dutch Boy carrying two buckets of water. I've shown the two of them together in the last photo. Each is a wonderful piece in its own right, but the two together would make a delightful pair. Both are listed so be sure to see them both.

BJ (or Grammy BJ) is my Mom, and she celebrated her 90th birthday in Mar 2010. She's still creating beautiful works of art and is soooo excited about seeing her creations in our ArtFire shop. Is that amazing or what????
