Outrageous handpainted wooden Birdhouse. The eaves just scream red-light district with fly-away fringe. An enormous metal flower with iridescent glass drop center snakes across the perch and entrance. A handpainted flower with glass center sparkles from the back. Beaded dangles hang from the peak of the roof front and back to notch up the bling a little more... and a single strand of vintage beads from the 50s surrounds the base. Hand painted and signed by SH (Shirley).

Measures approximately:
8¾" high
5½" wide (front to back)
4¾" deep (front to back)

The design is painted with oil paints with a gold metallic overlay wash, and protected with an indoor/outdoor finish. However, to preserve the design and colors, and specially to protect the fringing along the eaves, I strongly recommend that this Birdhouse be placed in a protected environment under a covered porch or a covered yard Gazebo. Of course it would also make a marvelous decorative element to use anywhere inside!!
