Cross Stitch pattern from JBW Designs ~ Oh, Noble Heart ~ dated 1993, designs by Judy Whitman. Lovely sampler pattern. The crown with heart motif was often used in Pennsylvania German samplers, as well as in German. Dutch and Swiss Samplers. Many of the charts in this sampler are adaptations of antique designs. Illustrated stitched for a framed picture, a pillow cover and single motif used for a small crystal bowl. Patterns included inside the sampler:
