This furry fiber bowl just begs you to touch it every time you walk by. By combining an orange wool yarn and a self striping fun fur in light tones of rose, orange and green, I've created a softly striped bowl that you'll be happy to use for your keys, change or what ever else you want to find back. Your fingers will thank you.

This bowl is hand knit and machine felted. It measures about 3.25 inches (8 cm) high and 6 inches (15 cm) wide.

Felted items are washable...I recommend washing by hand in cold water, rinse in cold water, roll in a towel to absorb most of the water, and then to reshape and let air dry.

I love experimenting with different combinations of wool and novely yarns. For this bowl, I decided to use both yarns throughout the entire bowl. I also just knitted it on the fly. As a result, the very bottom has an interesting shape to it - it actually is a bit cone-shaped inside the bowl. You can try to make this bowl sit on it's bottom, but it always pops right back into that cute little cone! I really love how soft this novelty yarn is. This bowl is one of a kind! Really...I didn't write down the pattern as I went so I can't recreate it!
