I work with several rescue groups across the country. So often, the precious dogs coming into rescue are without names due to their unknown history. The rescue groups name them, but when adopted, the new "humans family" will often change their name.

I created this blanket as a special "Memory Blanket" for the rescued dog. A little something to remember the rescue that saved their life. I've added the "rescue date" on this one too.

I love the heart with the pawprint design on this one. So sweet.

If you have a "rescued" pet, this is a wonderful gift of love. You can personalize it with your pet's name only if you prefer. You could also request the "Gotcha" date instead of the "Rescued" date or you can omit the date entirely. Just send me a note with your order as to what you would like embroidered on the blanket.

This blanket was created for for "Lucy" who was a very special rescue with Lone Star. I created a special "Memory Blanket" for her, and included her "rescue name and date" so that her new family would always have a special memory blanket for her to remember the rescue that saved her and the name they gave her.
