Product Description

An oval bead necklace made of carved emerald green Galalith plastic beads. The carving is on all faces of the beads and looks like an open rose under magnification. The two end beads contain a plastic screw clasp that is in amazing condition. It is strung on green cotton string. The necklace is 25 inches long so no need to even use the clasp.

The necklace emits a peculiar odor of burnt milk when exposed to hot water. This is a characteristic of Galalith plastic. The necklace is in fine condition. No broken or cracked beads. A great piece for collectors of early plastic jewelry.

This would be a great necklace for Christmas or St. Patrick's Day celebrations.
