This wire wrap piece is approx 2 1/2 inches from top of bail to bottom of piece. Robert has used 14 karat gold filled wire (jewelry standard) to showcase the amber piece. This amber piece is a mellow yellow with bubbles and a bit of dirt specks, but no bugs. And the amber itself is quite soft - so it scratches quite easily. What a fun piece!

We found this piece of amber at our local rock show and had to have it. Robert thought the gold color looked best on its color.
