I have always lived near to the sea (on an island as small as Britain, it is difficult not to!) and I love it...the sound of the waves, the smell of the seaweed and the call of the gulls - the vastness of it all.

The beautiful boro glass beads in this necklace remind me of the colours of the sea. Its like you have a little bit of the sea with you around your neck wherever you go. They are made by Atlantis Glass and Beads.

I spaced them with some pretty little faceted smoky quartz beads and wired them on some vintaj bronze wire. The rest of the neacklace is made of some chunky antiqued brass chain and fastens with a lobster clasp.

The necklace is 18" long, but the clasp can be hooked into the chain links to wear it shorter if preferred.
