This couture Alice cloche is made with a beautiful black light weight wool and is very reminiscent of the flapper period through 1920 and 1930 when women were never seen out without a gorgeous number on their heads! All my hat patterns are designed and made by me. This hat is made special by the "ruching" of certain areas around the top and crown and has a lovely subtle brim which can be worn up or down. This Alice has an additional tuck at the brim line and is embellished with a hand made cream organza flower brooch. This can be removed and worn on a scarf, lapel, purse or wherever you choose. Make sure the tape lies over the fullest part of the back of the head and do not pull the tape any tighter than you would want a hat to feel during wear.
