Funky one of a kind steampunk brooch made from a recycled circuit board!

I first took a much larger recycled circuit board and cut it down to measure 1 5/8" by 2 1/2" and then added a wash of gold using a technique that took me years to perfect.

Vintage 1970s brass jewelry findings from a company that went out of business and brass triangles and black steel dots from an old scrap metal facility add additional interest. A fabulous German vintage lucite cabochon catches your eye with its bright cinnabar red splatter against a turquoise background. It's 1 1/4" across by 5/8" wide.
This pin will definitely make people do a double take when they realize it's made using a recycled circuit board!

**Because circuit boards are made from many layers of epoxy resin fiberglass, this pin is quite light in weight despite being on the large side.
