Recycled circuit boards decorate a vintage black metal business card holder. I have started with a recycled black metal business card holder, that like the base for my new funky recycled circuit board bookends,came from an old factory in Brooklyn from the 1940's.

Various shades of green recycled circuit boards,many of which have been cut into unusual geometric shapes,have been added along with a vintage purple plastic cabochon from the 1980's. Little iridescent purple seed beads have also been added to pick up the purple in the cabochon. There are also little circuit boards with real gold for additional interest. Back in the 1980's, companies weren't salvaging the gold that is in many circuit boards like they do these days . I still have a number of these vintage circuit boards that have gold in them!

This also isn't just a business card holder but also a substantial eclectic paperweight!

This business card holder measures 2 1/4" by 3 3/4" by 1/2" thick and will definitely do the job of holding down papers on your desk while storing your business cards inside.

For anyone who is into making this world a greener place in which to live and who appreciates eclectic mixed media office products, this would be a very funky gift!

People will definitely do a double take when they realize it is covered both inside and out with recycled circuit boards!
