Recycled circuit boards decorate a vintage black metal business card holder.
I have started with a recycled black metal business card holder, that like the base for my new funky recycled circuit board bookends,came from an old factory in Brooklyn from the 1940's.

A very interesting circuit board in a neutral tone with white printing and silver has been added as the basis for this card holder. Scrap brass and steel from a scrap metal facility have been added as well as a vintage brass jewelry finding which has mounted in it a vintage purple glass cabochon from the 1960's as well as a circle of anodized aluminum. Vintage electronic resistors have been also added for additional detail.
This isn't just a business card holder but also a substantial eclectic paperweight!

This business card holder measures 2 1/4" by 3 3/4" by 1/2" thick and will definitely do the job of holding down papers on your desk while storing your business cards inside.

For anyone who is into making this world a greener place in which to live and who appreciates eclectic mixed media office products, this would be a very funky gift!
