Framed Fiber Art, Item 1031, 8 inches by 10 inches. Fabric is hand dyed, embellished with eyelash yarn, ribbon, seed beads and metallic fabric paint, backed by paper and enclosed in a glass front frame. Can be either hung or set on a surface. This is one of a series. Great companion piece for items 940 or 942.

I took a class in '07 in surface design techniques: monoprinting, screen printing, discharge dyeing, stamping, batik, deconstructed screen printing... I fell in love with a whole new world of fiber arts! These pieces are made using some of the fabric I have created with several of the techniques I learned in this class, then I used several embellishing techniques I have learned over the years to complete each piece. One-of-a-kind art!
