Tilesmiles are handmade blue green italian style tiles with words and phrases, songs and poems, images and designs, each individually crafted with love and a prayer.

Tilesmiles were born of a love of words, and a love of the earthenware clay I began using in my work over 15 years ago. The work I do now was inspired by a trip to Italy in 2002, where the colors of the architecture, and of the land were blazed in my heart. I wanted to capture a feeling with the tiles I make. This is happy work, work that inspires, and brings people joy. It is a gift to be able to share with you a happy story, one word, one tilesmile at a time.
