This lariat-style necklace is made out of paper beads and glass beads. The paper beads are khaki-green, off-white and some have a bit of dark pink to them. The glass beads are a shimmering dark green and the seed beads used are bronze.

All paper beads were hand rolled and have two coats of varnish. The varnish makes them water resistant but not water proof, so no taking showers while wearing this necklace.

A lariat necklace offers the wearer control of the style you want to wear. Think of it as a scarf, and the many ways you can wear one. Have it hanging loose, make a simple knot like you would when you start doing your shoelaces, loop it around your neck once or twice, fold it in half and feed the ends through the loop, you could even (loosely! you don't want the knot so tight you can't undo it) tie it around your waist or use it as a hair accessory, making this the most versatile piece of jewelry ever!
