This recycled blue jeans denim skirt is my version of the mermaid wiggle skirt. A bright colored shirt forms the skirting. The skirt is designed to cling to your caboose and flatter it. Spandex keeps it comfortable.

Blue jeans skirt yoke with a fabric content of cotton/1% spandex.

A cotton/3% spandex button up skirting with a print of tropical flowers and shells.

This mini mermaid skirt is designed to sit just above the hip bones. It will curve around your bunns and cuts in slightly, then tapper back out and down. It is super comfortable and easy to walk in, not at all constricting. The skirt button up front is sewn from the top button down to the top of the middle button. This will keep the skirt from popping open between the top two buttons when you sit. (hate when that happens!) You can unbutton the bottom one if you like. It is really flattering!

Siizing.... yes, there is some spandex in both pieces, and yes the skirt will stretch.... but... It is not meant to be super tight. Wearing the skirt that tight will counter the affect and not look flattering.

If you match the measurements above, the skirt will look great! and be very comfortable to wear. You will wear it until it falls apart. :)
