Maker: Butterick
Number: 6197
Size: 12, Bust 34
Who: Women, Teen Girls
Date on Envelope: None, but it was found with others from the 1970s
Condition: Uncut (Please see the pictures for envelope detail. I never claim the pattern to be perfect or mint. They've all got character, one way or another.) *****At some point in this poor pattern's life, it suffered some flooding. The back of the envelope is missing. All of the pages come apart to read and work with. They are not stuck together. It's definitely a useable pattern. Enjoy the discounted price for this uncut pattern!

Sometimes it's far more fun to sew something from another time.

Sometimes it's even more fun to update it or make it a little differently to suit your taste.

And sometimes the only thing you can do with that totally awesome vintage yardage you have is build an equally awesome vintage garment. But the only way to make it look "right" is to use a pattern it was meant to be used with back in the day.

In any case, I hope you have "just the right fabric" to use with this pattern.

Always contact me if you have questions. I love to talk sewing and patterns and vintage...and a bunch of other stuff, too!
