This Carter Mouse and Friends Springtime Friends cross stitch pattern contains a lovely trio of patterns. There is ballooning, flying a kite and the promenade. It is sprintime in Chestnut Hollow, and everyone has gathered in the city square for the annual Springfest Celebration. Carter Mouse arrives early with Ms. Josephine Kitty on the "promenade". Dressed in their finest clothes, they stroll along the lakeside greeting friends and enjoying the morning sailboat races.

Later in the day, Carter joins his dear friend Bertram Bunnie for a kite flying contest. The crown cheers with great excitement as the pair wins for the second year in a row. As the day draws to a close Carter catches a ride in Reginald Kitty's beautiful hot air balloon. Carter Mouse is thrilled by the splendid view from the air, waving to their companions on the ground.
