Simplicity 9542 Vintage Pattern - #VP168

This lovely Simplicity 9542 vintage pattern makes a back-wrap skirt, straight-leg pants or shorts and shirt in half-sizes. The A-line skirt has patch pockets, waistband and tie ends. Pants and shorts have fly front zipper, yoke and pockets, waistband and carriers. Skirt, pants and shorts have contrasting top-stitching. Button-front short has collar and above the elbow length sleeves with turn-back cuff.

This Simplicity 9542 vintage pattern has a 1980 copyright and contains 19 pieces which are uncut and factory folded along with the instruction sheet. The envelope as pictured is in very good condition especially considering its age.

This Simplicity 9542 is a fabulous original vintage sewing pattern not a copy.

Suggested Fabrics:
Shirt in cotton types, broadcloth, chambray, gingham, crepe types.
Pants, short, skirt in cotton types, poplin, denim, chino, duck and lightweight linen types. Extra fabric needed to match plaids and stripes. One-way design fabrics: extra fabric may be needed. Use nap yardage and nap layouts to match. Not suitable for obvious diagonal fabrics.
