Simplicity 5497 Vintage Pattern -#VP170

This Simplicity 5497 vintage pattern makes a blouse that has an asymmetrical front button closure and set-in sleeves. View 1 has bateau neckline, self ruffle and above the elbow length sleeves gathered to buttoned cuffs. View 2 has button band collar, front tucks and long sleeves with buttoned tuck detail. View 3 is gathered to yoke tie collar and long sleeves gathered to buttoned cuffs.

This lovely Simplicity 5497 vintage pattern is a 1982 copyright and contains 24 pieces which are uncut and factory folded along with the instruction sheet. The envelope is in very good condition especially when considering its age.

This fabulous Simplicity 5497 pattern is an authentic vintage sewing pattern not a copy.

Suggested Fabrics:
Silk and silk types, Crepe-de-Chine. V1 & 2 also in handkerchief linen, voile. V1 & 3 also in georgette. Soft cotton types. Extra fabric needed to match plaids, stripes, one-way designs. Not suitable for obvious diagonal fabrics.
