Simplicity 8354 Vintage Pattern - Item#VP243

This Simplicity 8354 vintage pattern makes a misses' caftan proportioned in height. The one size caftan can be made in any one of three proportioned heights - short, average or tall.

The caftan is collarless and has shaped neckline and front zipper closing. There are openings at ends of shoulder and side seams for the arms. View 1 has ball fringe trim and view 2 has rick-rack trim. View 3 has novelty braid and frog trim.

This Simplicity 8354 vintage pattern has a 1969 copyright and contains 4 pieces which are uncut and factory folded along with the instruction sheet. As pictured the envelope has some minor wrinkling and wear on the corners and flap but is in good condition considering its age.

Suggested Fabrics:
Cottons and blends; brocade jacquards. Linen. Silks, synthetics and blends; poplin, pique, terrycloth, cotton sateen, homespun, hopsacking, canvas, dick. Lightweight wools and blends; wool flannel, knits, wool challis, wool crepe.

This is a fabulous original vintage sewing pattern not a copy.
