Holly Blue chalcedony contains a gentle energy that feels a bit dreamy. It fosters balance between mind, body and spirit. It has all the properties of clear quartz crystals and is especially good at opening you up to spiritual enlightenment in an exceptionally peaceful way. Blue and purple chalcedonies are told to help one rid themselves of unwanted things in one's life; aids in avoiding messy emotional involvements with cause distress. It is used at the Throat, Crown and Third Eye/Brow Chakras.

Chevron amethyst is said to combine the strengthening and enhancing energies of quartz with the stress relieving energies of amethyst. Together these minerals create the chevron amethyst. I never ask, I just do! The things I see, hear or feel while handling the stones can be rather entertaining. Playing with this amethyst, I was drawn to a picture of Nefertiti posted above my workbench. From there I knew exactly what stone would accent it, yet the placement was still unknown. I started laying out the stones in various positions and voilà, behold, the Eye of Ra!
