A lovely little wheel thrown stoneware planter.

The ceramic bowl was done in one my signature wavy styles so there are ridges and waves throughout. The glaze flows beautifully and emphasizes those ridges and finger marks.

The glaze is a soft matte purple (lavender?) with a dark purple rim and a matching dish to collect a little spillover water.

The rim was done in the rollover style where I curled the rim outward to create a ring that stands apart from the rest of the bowl as well as adding a level of strength to it.

You will receive two items - the bowl portion which is the planter itself as well as the dish to go underneath it. Both were thrown on the potters wheel. If you choose to use the dish separately, it's perfectly safe for food and both are safe for the dishwasher.

The bowl is 2.75 inches tall and 5.5 inches in diameter. The dish is half an inch tall and 5 inches in diameter.
