This planter was thrown on the pottery wheel, then 2 stripes were added near the top.

The glaze is a mustard yellow that gives this planter an organic, very rustic look and feel. In places it's a dark mustard yellow while in others it has a burnt or brick red color.

There are three holes at the bottom for water drainage and a matching dish to catch the draining water.

This planter should hold a transplanted 6" or 8" plant that you buy from the nursery very well.

The shape has no inside undercuts and is larger at the lip than the base so that plants can easily be removed when it's time to move the plant to a larger container.

When on it's dish, the whole thing measures 4.25 inches tall, 5.5 inches in diameter at the rim, and the bottom of the bowl part of the planter is 4 inches in diameter. The dish itself is 1 inch tall and 5.5 inches in diameter.
