Healing Heel and Elbow cream is a must have for those extra dry patches of skin. This cream presents as a solid, but quickly melts (like butter) when it warms on the skin. A little goes a long way! This cream comes in a 0.5 oz. twist up container, deodorant type tube. It is just the right size to carry in your purse, pack in a cosmetic case, or stash in a desk drawer at work!

My heel and elbow cream is made with all food grade quality ingredients. Each one was chosen for its healing and moisturizing properties. In the hot weather I use extra packing to ensure that your cream arrives in tact. However, should it arrive soft or slightly melted, simply place it in a cool area to sit until it re-sets, or to hasten the process, place it in the refrigerator for an hour or so. Don't worry, melting and re-setting will not affect the quality in any way.

Cocoa butter is a natural moisturizer, a skin emollient. Pure natural cocoa butter replenishes moisture while reducing soreness from sun and wind burned skin. It promotes integration and suppleness of scar tissue by preserving the skin's natural elasticity.

One oil that is used is especially useful for skin types that do not absorb oils too well, and it does not leave a greasy feeling. Wonderful for those with skin sensitivities because of its natural non-allergenic properties.

Another oil used is a highly moisturizing oil with an exceptionally high amount of Oleic acids. It is deeply soothing.

Yet another oil is an exceptionally rich oil, high in essential omega fatty acids and proteins. It absorbs well into the skin. It makes a marvelous cosmetic grade oil and because of its nutritional value, it is wonderful to use as in skin care recipes which require healing and regenerative ingredients.


Among many other things, the essential oils used are said to relax, soothe, restore balance to the body systems, and possess properties of an: Antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, a bactericidal, an: Analgesic, antimicrobial, antioxidant, antirheumatic, antiseptic, fungicidal, and a tonic. Many believe these oils to be especially good for those with dermatitis, eczema, muscle pain ,varicose veins, and wounds, among other things.

**The Food and Drug Administration has not evaluated or approved essential oils for anything other than scent. As such, I cannot recommend their use for anything other than scent.

Please note that there are no nut oils used in this formula.

Exercise caution when utilizing essential oils. You should always use a patch test when applying a product with essential oils or unfamiliar ingredients. That is to say that you should apply a small amount to a small area of skin and watch for potential adverse reactions. Should redness, swelling or itching occur, discontinue use and wash area with a mild soap. Seek medical attention for any further complications, questions, or advice.
