In this tutorial you will learn how to weave a lovely necklace of hearts, using a variation of what is known in the world of bead weaving as “netting”.

If you’ve never netted before, you’re in for a treat! A finished piece of netted beadwork feels wonderful in your hands and lies oh-so-perfectly on the neck. It’s lightweight too, so it’s also very comfortable.
This PDF tutorial includes numbered steps with written instructions along with clear, close up photos that make it easy to learn. Weaving in, knotting, and adding a clasp are included in a natural progression throughout the tutorial.

Materials list:
16g size 11 Toho seed beads - “heart” color,
16g size 11 Toho seed beads - “background” color,
2 Wire Guards (wire guardians),
1 Lobster clasp (swivel clasps work great),
Fireline beading thread 6lb test or your choice of beading thread 4-6lb test,

Tools list:
Big eye beading needle or your choice of beading needle,
Scissors
