This lesson shows how to wrap a bulb ornament with seed beads using the popular beading technique of netting. You may use any size bulb you like, but it must be sphere. I like to use shatterproof ornaments, ensuring they will last a long time.
They make lovely gifts for friends, and works up fairly quickly. If you have ever beaded before, you should have this finished under 2 hours.

If you are new to beading, no worries! This tutorial has clear, close up photos and written instructions with each step that make it easy to learn.

Pictured steps of weaving in and knotting thread is included in a natural progression throughout the tutorial.


Materials list:
8g size 11/0 Toho Seed Beads,
Bulb Ornament (sphere),
Fireline beading thread 6lb test or your choice of beading thread 4-6lb test

Tools list:
Big eye beading needle or your choice of beading needle,
Scissors
