Suzy is finally here and is looking for a good home (just like her older brother, Patches did).

This adorable wallhanging measures 14" x 18".

Suzy was completely prepared, by hand, and machine appliqued. Buttons were added for her eyes and to her overall straps.

A pretty neutral background, with a floral print, was used as a backdrop to Suzy.

Various pink fabrics were used in the border. Pale pink buttons are on every other block.

On the two long borders are the words "dog". It was embroidered by hand in a matching thread (that was used for the blanket stitch in appliquing Suzy.).

A pretty pink print with swirls was used for the backing and a nice multi-shaded pink plaid was used for the binding.

A blanket stitch was used for appliquing Suzy. The quilt was stitch-in-the-ditch and in a half cross-hatch (behind Suzy).

NOTE: Magnetic hangers shown in the pictures are not included. You can purchase them for $7.50 each. Or non-magnetic for $6.50 each. Let me know, so that I can make a private listing for you to include the hangers. Also, let me know if you want ash or walnut.
