Product Description
This piece was a juried show entry for the Lake Placid Center for the Arts in January of 2006. (It didn't get in, but, oh well, it sure made me think about form!) The rules of the show were simple: anything entered in the show had to consist of two colors only, black and white. It really made me think more about form than color for once, and it was great fun to make the pendant!

The 18" necklace is a twisted Ndebele rope made of tiny size 15 seed beads in black and white. It is finished with two tiny black glass Czech druk beads and secured with an dyed black agate toggle clasp. The pendant is made from some more of those tiny size 15 seed beads and was woven with right angle weave to form a fabric-like pendant that I draped just like a regular piece of fabric. The pendant is secured to the necklace with a peyote-stitched bail.
