This piece took me over a year to complete! Well, technically, it took me over fifty hours, but over the course of a year because I could not figure out how to fringe it. I finally got inspiration from our baby chickens, who are quickly growing in their adult feathers!

This piece has been meticously bead-embroidered with thousands of tiny seed beads, accenting the lovely dyed blue agate cabcohons. I love cabcohons with unusual shapes, and these certainly fit that description! To add to the overall ethnic feel of the piece, I used natural bamboo tube beads in the fringe. A true one-of-a-kind piece as bold as the woman who wears it!

Collar is approximately 20" around the neck and is secured with an adjustable pewter clasp.
