Product Description
The USS Oklahoma was moored on Battleship Row in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on the morning of 6 December 1941. She sustained heavy damage and capsized in the harbor - the lived of many US Sailors were lost within her haul. After being resurfaced, the damage was so extensive that the US Government sold her to a scrap yard in California. She was repaired to the point of being able to undergo sea travel, from Hawaii to California; however, during her final voyage to California, the USS Oklahoma had other plans. She broke tow and sank in the depths of the Pacific Ocean, where she lies to this day. As a tribute to her service and the many lives lost on the USS Oklahoma, this memorial has been constructed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii.
