Our Raised Plaster Acanthus Crest Stencil was designed to be used alone or with our Raised Plaster Acanthus Crest Border Stencil to create the dramatic look found in Gothic castles and Victorian homes.

I would love to use this design in the very center of a wall then border either side of it with it's sister border design. It's also GREAT for the corners of ceilings or directly above a door.

Stencils are a wonderful way to add such dramatic textures to your walls. Use large stencils such as this one randomly on the wall as an all over texture or offset in spaced rows as a damask design.

Raised Plaster Stenciling is easy! If you can butter bread, you can create stunning raised designs on your walls, furniture, cabinetry, craft items and more!
Simply tape the stencil to the intended area, spread pre-mixed joint compound (found at all home improvement stores) over the stencil openings, un-tape the stencil and peel it back to reveal the design.
Allow to dry then paint with wall paint or seal with sealer.
