Gwenn Pennington hats are delightful and of wonderful quality, but the label is undervalued, so these are real bargains in today's market--if made by one of the more noted design houses, they would be double the price. This hat is a quintessential late 60s/early 70s "bubble" style hat or beret. Exquisitely plush, of long-napped Martelle fur felt imported from West Germany. The light ivory, or "creme fraisch," shade goes well with so many colors. Semi-structured, with two deep tucks along the edge to contour to the head and a flirty bow at the side back. Tilt to the side like a beret, or wear more like a traditional hat--looks great either way! Popular but hard-to-find size 22 1/2. Appears to run true (I take a 22, and this is a bit too big for me, but I could use a hat pin to secure it, and it'd be fine).

Near mint condition. No flaws, no wear. Barely/rarely worn. Pristine inside and out.
