Available by Special Order.....Here we have FIVE Primitive Folk Art Grungy Daffodils. This arrangement would display nicely as a centerpiece, shelf sitter, or placed on a bureau, table or halltree. Each bloom measures approximately 9-12" tall and 4-5"wide. They would look great in your country farmhouse and would also make a wonderful house-warming gift that is everlasting.

I have created this floral piece in the primitive fashion to give it that time-worn look. Each daffodil is cut from muslin and hand-stitched with a gathered circle center surrounded by blooming pointed petals. They have been paint-washed in buttercup yellow paint and aged with my grubby solution of coffee-vanilla-cinnamon, baked and sprinkled with dry cinnamon. Each long stem is formed with twisted rusty tin wire and the tightly curled end sprouts from the center of the daffodil. The glass vase is not included in the auction. I can imagine these blooms arranged in your rusty tin, green glass or quilted container.

This piece has been lovingly made by me using a pattern designed by Tennesee Ridge Primitives.
