I picked up this pendant in a cute little shop across from the Trevi Fountain in Rome, Italy, last spring. And although I normally purchase vintage pieces, I couldn't resist it. I thought it was very unique and something that my customers would like. The pendant is sterling silver in the shape of a beetle with movable legs. If you prefer, though, it could be a roach. And he even has a cute little face on his belly side. The chain is also sterling and has a square serpentine design.

The pendant measures 1 3/16" long and 13/16" wide. It is stamped "925". The chain is 17-3/4" long and has a 1mm link. The clasp is a standard spring-style with the tag loops marked "925" and "ITALY".
