TT's Grandmother's No. 1!

(I know that Twiggy isn't a 1950s gal, but she looked so cute in them I couldn't resist putting them on her.) These pretties came to me by way of a good friend who, of course, got them from her grandmother. What a stylish woman she must have been! No doubt they were worn to match a special dress and hat. In modern terms I think they are fabulous for their playful/whimsical nature. Certainly they are well-constructed and well-made as they are in excellent condition; although there is some flaking of the enamel on the inside of one of the clips. Other than that they are like new!

These earrings are assembled in five layers, flower-style, and riveted - the center button (8mm), three stamped filigree layers (20mm, 28mm & 34mm), and the clip mechanism. Attached along each bottom are 15 plastic ravioli petals (10mm) connected with jump rings which allow fluttering and movement. Clips are fully functional with a good snap.
