This little piece of wearable art is hand molded and pressed with a single leaf of horehound (Marrumbium vulgare) to create a OOAK "Impression of Nature." It is then hand painted and finished with lots of love and honor for the protective power of Nature.

The pin is made of clay, painted and finished in acrylics. It is water resistant, but not waterproof.

I have been making "Impressions of Nature" for over 10 years now.

I create these clay pieces by wandering through my gardens, through the woods and other wild spaces. Mother Nature guides me to the places I may pinch and prune, and I leave a gift of gratitude in return.

The act of creating this lovely pin is a form of peaceful, healing meditation for me, and I hope that experience extends to whoever wears it.
