This little piece of handcrafted, wearable art is hand molded and pressed with a single baby Motherwort leaf, collected from my herb garden, to create a OOAK "Impression of Nature." It is hand painted and finished with lots of love and honor for the strong, nurturing power of Mother Nature.

This little pin has a shimmering, pearl background and the leaf is painted a soft blue with shimmering gold details. It measures about 1 inch in average diameter and is one of a kind (OOAK).

The pin is made of clay, painted and finished in acrylics. It is water resistant, but not waterproof.

I have been making "Impressions of Nature" since 1996.

To create them, I start by wandering through my gardens, through the woods and other wild spaces. Mother Nature guides me to the places and the plant that I may pinch and prune.

The act of creating this lovely pin is a form of peaceful, healing meditation for me, and I hope that experience extends to whoever wears it.
