This one ounce bottle of "Ivy Itch" is handcrafted with handmade extracts of wild impatiens and plantain leaf.

Over the years this herbal combination has worked so well for me and for many others ... and now I've bottled it in a formula that I can share with you.

This "Ivy Itch" formula is created with my own handcrafted herbals as follows:
~ Isopropyl tincture of Impatiens sp. (wild impatiens)
~ Isopropyl tincture of Plantago majus (plantain)
~ Flower essence of Tansy

To use: Apply topically to affected skin at first sign of tingle, bump or blister, avoiding eyes and sensitive membranes. Use freely to calm the itch and promote healing until the rash is resolved. Use sparingly, a little goes a long way!

This formula also mixes well with natural clays to create a paste that draws the irritants and aids drying of weeping blisters and promotes healing.

Cautions: Keep out of reach of children. Avoid eyes, mouth and other sensitive areas. For topical use ONLY. For severe or rashes, seek the counsel of a licensed health care practitioner.

I created this spray in 1999 when poison ivy first got my attention in a dramatic way. Prior to the summer '99 I had never experienced any sensitivity to poison ivy, yet the Green World wanted my attention and used this plant ~ Toxicodendron radicans ~ to be certain that I got the message.

Long story short, I got the itchy rash and none of the OTC products offered any relief. I went into my untreated yard, plucked some Plantago leaves, made a mash, applied it and experienced instant relief from the itch. With the itch calmed, I was able to harvest the wild Impatiens to add to the mash. Soon after, I tinctured these herbs, combined them in a spray bottle and added it to my personal first aid chest.

Eventually I added a touch of tansy flower essence to honor the spirit of Poison Ivy, my green ally that supported me in connecting with my personal power and in getting my life UnStuck.
