"Berberis" is a one of a kind, Nature inspired pocket journal ... a piece of functional and herbal art!

I created this journal by altering a mini composition book with layers of white, teal, green and lavender and ink. I finished it with a sprig of healing berberis (commonly called barberry) and two fern tips, all collected from my own little acre and lovingly pressed.

This handsome little journal measures 4.5" x 3.25" and has 80 pages, 160 sides of lined paper.

Inspiration/Story Behind This Product
From spring to autumn I harvest botanical gifts to press, so that when the winter months arrive I have a nice cache of Nature to work with.

I garden, wild-harvest, preserve, work with botanicals for food and medicine ... and I create works of art with the generous gifts of Nature too!

Creating this type of artwork is a healing form expressive Medicine for me. I love it ... and I hope you do too.
