Here is a crisp and beautiful rug hand woven in recycled polished cotton drapery remnants. It uses two sections of fabric in stripes. The darker Teal or Turquoise has small Pink and Green blossoms sprinkled across it. The lighter stripe is Pale Pink, Sea Green and Powder Blue. That fabric has a slight almost metallic sheen to it that give life to the rug when hit by light. It would lend elegance to a summer porch or warmth to a hardwood floor or would brighten up a kitchen in a flash. I can just picture it with white wicker.

Warp is done in a stripe Natural, Turquoise and Black. It is a cotton warp

All my rugs are woven on a large vintage "Weaver's Delight" rug loom built in 1942. The whole house shakes when I am weaving. The designs are my own and I have won several awards for my work. I use all recycled materials in my wefts and either cotton or polyester warp. My rugs are machine washable in warm or cool. It is best to line dry. Give the fringe a good shake to straighten it and hang over a clothesline or rail. With a bit of care this rug will last a good many years.
