Native American Medicine Wheel Beads
3/4" Wide Barrel Style

Medicine Wheels serve different functions and all have differnt meanings. Two wheel and sheilds in which we are all invited to share with respct is the Rainbow Wheel and our own creations of sheilds. The Rainbow wheel here, and in all my work represents the coming together into balance the four tribes of the world, the elements and our natures in to a beautiful balance. I beliwve there is hope for us - so did Black Elk in his book Black Elk SPeaks - my first introduction to the rainbow wheel. May you walk in beauty.

These very special beads are offered only once or twice a year and by custom order. The beads are hand painted using porcupine quills and a Pysanky Egg drop-pull techniques, They are made with recycled wood and dipped in a very special resin that gives them a glass like finish and protects the delicate painting underneath. There are no other beads like them.
Sage smudging and other nice things are done to give these beads an extra special "sparkle". Two matching beads.
