Beautiful blue, purple and white checkerboard accented by plumes of filigree. These very special beads are offered only once or twice a year and by custom order. The beads are hand painted using porcupine quills. I have three basic designs - The Swirls using a beautiful variation of the Pysanky Egg drop-pull techniques. Ornate Filigree such as these beads, and the detailed painting pieces like my Medicine Wheels. This is a selling point you can use with your customers as well.

Each bead is made with recycled wood and dipped in a very special dip that gives them a thick glass like finish and protects the delicate painting underneath. There are no other beads like them.
