Quill Painted Fat Bi-cone Shaped

Bright primary red, blue, yellow swirled with a bit of black make these beads striking and fun. They remind me of a circus and would make a great pair of earrings or as elements in a necklace.

These very special beads are offered only once or twice a year and by custom order. The beads are hand painted using porcupine quills. I have three basic designs - The Swirls using a beautiful variation of the Pysanky Egg drop-pull techniques. Ornate Filigree, and the detailed painting pieces like my Medicine Wheels, and like these. This is a selling point you can use with your customers as well.

Each bead is made with recycled wood and dipped in a very special dip that gives them a thick glass like finish and protects the delicate painting underneath. There are no other beads like them. May these beads carry their blessings into your world and into your designs.
