A chance encounter or a planned rendevous? This playful scene with birds and blooms in the whimsical wildwood---the flowers seem to be protecting the tiny creatures. Stems that bend, and blooms that serve as umbrellas!



A 6" round pine plaque was delicately burned to take advantage of the sweet design. The scorching side-effects of the hot iron were intentionally left un-corrected to add a lively, handmade personality to the piece. The black background is also scorched and textured to give depth and a touchable quality.
