A gorgeous pair of wire wrapped Tanzanite and cobalt blue dichroic fused glass dangle earrings, Cobalt Gemmies.

A pair of my handmade dichroic fused glass cabochons in rich shades of cobalt and royal blue with hints of purpley-blue. Set in handcrafted, 14k gold filled wire wrapped frames accented with 14k little gold beads and gorgeous Tanzanite briolette drops.

Approximately 1.5 inches, 4cm long.

These gorgeous earrings come nicely packaged in a small gift box. The back of the cabochons are signed with my initials "WW".

About the dichroic cabochon: All of my cabs are fired & annealed in a digitally controlled kiln using compatible glass

First-I start by fusing a "slab" of glass.

Second-I cut the desired shapes out on a ring saw and clean the edges up on a grinder. Then I use a channeling bit to put a groove or channel on the edge of the cab.

Three-It then goes back into the kiln for a final firing where it is smoothed and fire polished.
