Luscious shades of purple are found in these cascading drop earrings that are made using vintage shoe buttons.

Each earring has six (6) vintage shoe buttons. Four (4) of which are a light, shimmery purple that has a hint of taupe to them. The other two (2) are a dark, shimmery purple.

These beautifully cascade down from silver colored surgical steel ear wires. The button portion of the earrings measure approximately one inch (2.5 centimeters).

Each shoe button is used in its original state. I have not altered them in any way. The cute little silver ball that you see in the center of each one is part of the button!

These earrings are very light weight, classy, yet fun! Wear them out to run errands, to the office, or during an evening of fun.

These earrings will come packaged in a cute ribbon tied clear gift box - ready for gifting or as a special treat for yourself!

Not sure what a vintage shoe button is? Think back to the high fancy shoes/boots that ladies would wear in the 1880's and early 1900's.

Remember the shoes/boots worn in the movie Titanic? The ones with buttons going down along the sides of the shoes? Well these are shoe buttons!

To make it easier and quicker to button, ladies would use a tool called a shoe button hook...but that is a whole other topic :)
